Following the successful integration of a new network infrastructure, TwistedPair caught up with IP House a year on to see how their installation had since benefited their business.
After some serious planning and organisation, TwistedPair headed up to London’s Docklands to IP House HQ, the providers of a secure, flexible, affordable and reliable colocation data centre, and a client the team at Twip have come to know very well following delivery of their hybrid tier III data centre network infrastructure last year.
Working with PinPoint Media, a filmmaking agency from London, it was important to TwistedPair to catch up with their client to ensure they were still happy with the solution installed, to talk about how this has since benefited their business and to offer them a platform to discuss any future plans. Sean Hilliar, Data Centre Manager at IP House said;
The project installed had scalability which aligned with our business evolution plans. This combined with the ability to deploy rapidly in what is a fast-moving market, and in incorporating a product synonymous with quality, is why we feel this project has been such a success! The solution implemented is going to allow our business to grow with excellent capacity planning and utilisation. With only the first of 12 pods in our primary suite completed and an additional, larger, secondary suite to enter service, this is just the beginning of a continuing working relationship.
TwistedPair, along with the assistance of an excellent cameraman Mike Dighe, were able to capture some beautifully framed shots of the data centre and offices for a video case study film due to launch early next year. It was fantastic to see once again their vision come to light and a great opportunity to discuss their project in detail. Caleigh Meadows, Marketing Manager from TwistedPair said;
Using the medium of video we wanted to capture the installation, this in itself is pretty impressive, but also show how the solution met the clients business objectives in terms of scalability, in-line with their future plans and also catch up whether or not this project has had a return on investment.
In addition to the facilities network infrastructure, IP House are in talks with TwistedPair about their Audio Visual offering, impressed by their portfolio of clients and services and next year may carryout an AV project which includes fitting out a multi-purpose space with AV tech and integration of digital signage.
