TwistedPair complete successful integration of hybrid tier III data centre for IP House.
IP House provides a secure, resilient and flexible colocation data centre service from their highly connected London facility, situated on the edge of the city’s financial district.
It was clear to TwistedPair following initial meetings that IP House had big ambitions for their infrastructure.
The solution designed by the technical team at Twisted included a hybrid tier III data centre network infrastructure, had scalability, which aligned with IP House and their business evolution plans and the capacity to deploy rapidly in a what is a fast-moving market.
The resolution needed to incorporate a high-end product. TwistedPair recommended HellermanTyton (HT) RapidNet. HT was the perfect fit for IP with the ability to provide a hybrid copper and fibre data infrastructure, whilst having a quality reputation. This solution is pre-terminated and pre-tested, enabling copper, fibre or both to share the same panel space, freeing up rack availability for additional IT equipment. The end result also offered IP House a solution which was modular, that would, in turn, grow with the facility.
TwistedPair went above and beyond to deliver a top quality service, from the initial recommendations made at concept stage on the most suitable cable and rack options, through to project management, implementation, testing and commissioning.
– Sean Hilliar – Data Centre Manager, IP House
TwistedPair arranged a meeting with IP House a year on to see if the integration still aligned with their growth plans and to investigate the return on investment to their business.
