Lead AV Engineer

UK/DUBLIN/AMSTERDAM
We are currently seeking an experienced Audio Visual Engineer to work on commercial AV projects throughout the UK. The role will be working with clients across the South of England (mainly London based), but also working in the surrounding counties. However there will be occasional travel to Europe and further afield (should this be something you are interested in doing).

Main Duties of the Job:

● Installation of projects in a timely and professional manner
● Managing and organising small projects
● Keeping engineers van sundry stock levels consistent for consumables
● Occasional deliveries to site for your own projects
● Liaising with internal staff to ensure project delivery of goods/procurement etc
● Managing a junior engineer
● Attending training with specific manufacturers and suppliers as and when organised

Field Service Engineer

Job Description

This role is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer service. This position will see you becoming an integral part of the support desk team where you will be mainly tasked with travelling to our customer sites to resolve and fix technical issues. The ability to work flexible hours, under pressure, be proactive and to think outside the box whilst staying calm is a must. You’ll be able troubleshoot, triage, identify, and fix issues, whilst keeping the end user and our internal helpdesk informed of the progress.

Reports to: Service Manager

Remuneration: TBC

Hours: 40 per week

Key Duties:

  • Preventative maintenance on AV equipment at customers sites
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting on AV Systems at customers sites and repairing AV systems
  • Building relationships with clients to ensure Service Contracts are renewed.
  • Bench repairs to equipment if possible or organisation for collection and delivery to manufacturers.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the equipment serviced is safe for use and that the quality of work carried out is of the highest quality
  • Assist with Installation projects when not on service calls.

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent internal and external communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organised nature
  • Demonstrable experience within a customer facing service role
  • Experience working within a timeframe, against standard SLA and adhering to SLAs and legal terminology.
  • Must have strong AV Technical experience, with extensive experience of troubleshooting, workarounds and fixing AV faults
  • BAU Support experience

  • High levels of AV equipment knowledge
  • Systems experience (Crestron/AMX/Extron/QSC/Logitech/Poly)

Customer Service Representative (Flexible)

Job Description

This role is responsible for providing outstanding customer service and continued support to our clients. You will be the front line of support ensuring that customers are satisfied and happy with TwistedPair services received. working well in a fast paced environment , accurate record keeping and first-class organisation skills are also key requirements for this role.

Reports to: Service Manager

Remuneration: TBC

Hours: 25 per week (Flexible hours between 08:30am – 5:30pm)

Key Duties:

  • Data Entry – Modify, update, and maintain existing contracts and associated documentation, internal systems and communicating changes.
  • Offering customer service support over the phone to inbound support queries and enter call details to the service database for tickets to be raised and passed to a technical delegate promptly, adhering to customer SLA’s.
  • Onboarding new customers when a service contract is secured to ensure the customer receives excellent customer service and has all the information needed to support them moving forward.
  • Maintaining client inventory lists in Excel and on CRM.
  • Updating the service CRM based database with all relevant information
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers at all times.
  • Customer service focused. Knowing our services inside and out so the correct customer service is given.
  • Taking ownership and managing bookings of customer preventative maintenance visits/ health checks.
  • Coordinating and organising the resource planning of our field service engineers.
  • Data entry and maintain an up to date, daily record of all activities and communication with clients through our ticketing system.
  • Provide ad-hoc duties when required.

Warehouse & Delivery Manager

Portsmouth & UK Project Sites

Job Description

We are looking to add a warehouse & delivery manager to control the goods in/out and storage systems at our head office in Portsmouth as well as make regular deliveries to our project sites in the UK (predominantly London). The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience in managing a warehouse and will be self motivated & organised. This role will require the individual to be located within a commutable distance of Portsmouth and have a full clean driving license.

Key Duties

  • Organise the warehouse so hardware for each on-going project can be easily accessible when required
  • Accept deliveries for new and on-going projects
  • Liaise with the purchasing and projects departments on RMA and restocking hardware 
  • Ensure engineer site boxes are refilled once returned from projects
  • Assist the technical team in collating hardware information such as serial numbers
  • PAT test all tools which pass through the warehouse (training will be given if required)
  • Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised at all times 
  • Carry out regular (2 or 3 per week) deliveries and collections to our project sites around the UK but mainly Central London

Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational skills
  • An ability to work under pressure
  • Current and clean UK driving license

Qualifications

Desirable

  • Previous experience of managing or working in a warehouse environment
