At Twisted we like to celebrate the wins, no matter how small and despite the challenges of 2020, the year brought many opportunities for Twisted as global technology integrators.
Relocated and expanded the UK HQ
At the start of the year, Twisted relocated their UK HQ to a larger modern office facility. The move supports the increasing growth of Twisted over the last three years with it’s flexible and collaborative culture.
Oliver Hall, Managing Director said:
This new office space will enable us to take Twisted to the next level. A purpose-built build and test area will increase the quality of our work and generous open-plan office space will allow the Twisted family to continue to work as a collaborative unit.
Expanded the Twisted presence in Ireland
In Ireland, Twisted have relocated and expanded to a larger premises which consists of a warehouse and workspaces to support the expanding client base in this region and to ensure that excellence is delivered in every project.
Darryl Gibbs, Territory Manager Ireland said:
The new office in Ireland located just off the M50 in Dublin will help us provide an even better service to our existing customers and partners in Ireland and Europe. The office includes a Twisted rack build and test area, storage facility and desk space. The Twisted office in Dublin will really help us deliver a higher level of customer service to our customers based in Ireland.
Continued to create an inclusive working culture
By October 2020, 43% of people in senior leadership positions at Twisted were women in comparison to the 5% of women in leadership positions in the technology industry [1]. Additionally by October 2020, 50% of Project Managers were women. At Twisted we work towards creating an inclusive culture that benefits our employees in the technology sector and customers across the globe, no matter their role in the organisation. Our culture is built on enjoyment and teamwork and ensures that we create a professional and consistent customer experience.
Delivered projects for world-class brands across the globe
Twisted’s agile approach and passionate team of experts ensured that projects in locations around the world such as Iceland, Paris and Bulgaria were completed within deadlines and budgets despite the travel restrictions imposed by various governments due to the virus.
Increased the team of experts
The headcount of Team Twisted increased by nearly 10% in 2020 as the level of expertise expanded. As well as recruiting and growing the team, Twisted believe that it is essential to invest in our people and their future through continuous training. Our in-house capabilities help to create technical cohesion in every project. Twisted also promoted Ian Howard to take the role of Technical Director after his several years of service with Twisted.
Continued to put community at the heart of Twisted
Working virtually is how Twisted delivers a majority of our business communications and despite the challenges of 2020, we have strived in making people and workplaces better connected through technology and data-driven design. Watch this space 2021 and thank you to all of our partners and clients!
