Audio Visual and Low Voltage solutions were required in the client’s new office space in Westminster, London. To ensure that the client can communicate to customers in real time, video conference and display requirements were needed in addition to a reliable cabling infrastructure.
The Solution
Audio visual solutions were implemented in 2 multi-purpose spaces including: 4K Samsung commercial displays, Biamp & Audio Technica microphones, AVer cameras, Crestron speakers, videobars and control systems, and Crestron room scheduling panels.
Each multi-purpose space consisted of 3 divisible meeting rooms which could be opened up to create one large meeting room or event space by selecting presets on the Crestron touch panels. For high definition video and crisp, evenly distributed sound, each event space was equipped with Aver Cam520 Pro PTZ cameras, Audio Technica wireless microphones, Biamp pendant ceiling microphones and Crestron 4” in-ceiling speakers; optimised and powered by a Biamp DSP and QSC amplifier. When the dividing walls are closed each small meeting room would utilise a Crestron UC-SB1-CAM to provide a camera and audio for video conferencing.
A low voltage, Cat6 copper data infrastructure was also installed using Excel cabling with a ‘Rack, Stack & Patch’ service and circa 160 data points. To ensure optimal WiFi coverage, Twisted provided a Network Heat Map leading to the supply and install of Ubiquiti Access Points.
