This Christmas, we wanted to do something more than switch on the fairy lights.
Thanks to support from Crestron, we’re proud to be making a special donation to Aspex, the Portsmouth-based art gallery and charity behind the Generate programme – a creative initiative supporting people affected by early-stage dementia. For us, this isn’t just a donation, it’s personal.
The Story Behind the Support
You might remember that earlier this year, we hosted our own chaotic (and delicious) charity Bake-Off in honour of Generate. It was inspired by Ray, the father of one of our account managers, whose family found real connection and comfort through the programme during his Alzheimer’s journey.
The response from the team was incredible. We baked, we ate, we raised funds… and we knew we wanted to do more. So when we had the opportunity to allocate to a meaningful cause, we didn’t hesitate.
A Thank You Visit
On 19th December 2025, Dan, Summer, Anne (Dan’s mum), and Freya (Dan’s daughter) visited Aspex for their final Generate session of the year. Not just to hand over the donation, but to celebrate the amazing work they do, connect with the community they serve, and mark the season with some festive cheer.
Why This Matters
For us, giving back locally is about more than a tick box. It’s about connection. It’s about people and using whatever tools we have, whether it’s marketing funds, platforms, or partnerships, to create a bit more good in the world. We’re especially grateful to Crestron for supporting this idea so wholeheartedly.
