From a fresh-faced 20-year-old to Senior Account Manager responsible for nearly £30 million in revenue, Adam Tozer’s journey at Twisted is one of grit, growth, and hard graft. Celebrating a full decade with the business, Adam’s story is a reflection of Twisted’s DNA: ambitious, people-powered, and anything but average.
Starting Out: Shirt and Tie, Meet Smart-Casual
Adam joined Twisted back in 2015, walking into our old, much smaller office wearing a shirt and tie. He quickly clocked the smart-casual dress code, but that initial impression of a relaxed, human-first culture stuck. His first role was in internal sales support, handling admin tasks and updating databases.
A decade on, he’s one of our senior and successful account managers, with a client portfolio that includes our biggest names and global service contracts. The journey? Anything but linear.
Building His Name and the Business
After moving into an Account Manager role, Adam began carving out his own client base, steadily growing revenues and relationships across Twisted’s full-service offering. His dedication, drive, and consistent top performance led to a well-earned promotion to Senior Account Manager in early 2025.
He’s been top of the leaderboard for revenue in FY 24/25, smashed records for maintenance sales (hitting £1m this year), and was the first to land a global service contract for the business.
Client Impact, Global Reach
Adam has delivered work at scale. From upgrading video conferencing across 200+ EMEA meeting rooms in 3 months, to migrating an entire global estate (10 offices, 150+ rooms) from Google Meet to Zoom in a single weekend. That kind of coordination takes planning, persuasion, and a serious amount of patience.
What makes him stand out? His clients and colleagues describe him as dedicated, driven, and ambitious. Someone who understands that relationships are everything, and who always plays the long game.
The Culture Hit (Not Just the Commission)
Sure, he jokes that the money helps, but what’s kept Adam at Twisted for 10 years is the culture. Despite growing to over 100 employees globally, the family feel has never left. “I’ve grown up here… Twisted gave me the space to learn, make mistakes, develop my career and challenge myself – and honestly, when you enjoy the people you work with and the journey you’re on, 10 years doesn’t feel that long”.
From AV Afterthought to Strategic Standard
In 2015, AV was often an afterthought. Today, it’s front and centre in every workplace conversation; a shift accelerated by the pandemic and the rise of global hybrid working. Adam’s watched clients become more strategic, creating AV and SC standards that drive consistent user experience across regions. And he’s grown with that shift.
Advice for the Next Gen
His advice to new account managers? Build the relationship first. It’ll make everything else easier. And don’t be afraid to lose. Learn from it. Reflect, reset, improve. Even after 10 years, Adam’s still learning.
Also, don’t believe anything’s confirmed until you have the PO!
A Bit of the Personal
When he’s not building multimillion-pound client pipelines, you’ll probably find Adam at the gym, playing padel, or halfway through a holiday. He’s got four middle names (ask at your own risk) and once renovated his entire house from scratch, which the sales team still hasn’t heard the end of. (He’s also still waiting on the second half of a bottle of wine from Glydey)
What’s Next?
With the recent acquisition of Crossover, expansion into Amsterdam, and the upcoming HQ move, 2026 is looking like a big one. Adam’s ready for it.
Here’s to the next 10. Cheers, Tozer!
